Adrian College earns National Recognition as College of Distinction

Innovative application of high impact educational practices at Adrian College earned the school recognition among the nation’s Colleges of Distinction.

Adrian College students earned college credit and valuable life experience while participating in study abroad programs in several countries, as well as through service learning, learning communities, and internships.

In the coming months, the city hopes to complete three improvement projects.

By a 6-1 vote Tuesday, the Hudson City Council approved a recommendation to purchase materials to rehabilitate the Will Carleton Park tennis courts, which have been in an advanced state of disrepair for several years.

Aubree’s Pizzeria and Grill is a new restaurant that is coming to Adrian, MI. Aubree’s is known for their extensive menu including signature pizzas,  fresh salads, and gluten friendly options, all at affordable pricing. Aubree’s Pizzeria and Grill has been working closely with Adrian’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (BRA).

A walk through the Novelty Shoppe in downtown Adrian is eye-catching, to say the least.

From the various action figures to the funny T-shirts, the items on display in the new business on Main Street are worth a look, and maybe even more.

Fred Sprague of Adrian plans to unveil the shop this weekend. He’s been getting ready for the opening with some help from his mother, Cathy. Both see the shop as a place with something for everyone.
