Lenawee Now has been lending support to local businesses and entrepreneurs for 100 years. It takes a lot to get a business off the ground and running. However, the effort to make your business a success is a collaborative one.

Local businesses and entrepreneurs may be eligible for several different programs. Organizations and programs like the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Business Revolving Loan Fund, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture fund, provide financial assistance to many businesses. The role of Lenawee Now is to connect you with organizations and tools like these. Each of these tools are tailored to fit specific business needs.

We, at Lenawee Now, are pleased to announce that we will be providing a new publication to better serve the small business and entrepreneurial community. The Lenawee Now “Toolbox” is a pamphlet that highlights a variety of financial resources and programs to assist and inspire local entrepreneurs. Using this toolbox, and with some help from Lenawee Now, entrepreneurs can access the tools necessary to build their business.

In order to utilize these programs, and others, your business will need to meet a variety of requirements. We are here to help you work through this process. If your first efforts are not successful, it may feel like it is the end of the road. However, it may simply just be time to return to the drawing board.

Lenawee now will work with you to make the necessary changes to be successful. While this process may often take longer than you would wish, it is important to stay positive and use your entrepreneurial spirit to persevere. We have the tools, you have the ideas—let’s get to work.
