Tech Center marketing students take first place in international competition
Three Lenawee County high school students topped a field of nearly 19,000 students from 150 teams Tuesday to place first in the DECA International Career DevelopmentConference in Nashville, Tennessee.
Madison High School juniors Alexa Blohm and Hailey Perez, as well as Hudson High School junior Samantha Gerig, members of the enterprise and marketing class at the Lenawee Intermediate School District Tech Center in Adrian, took first place in the conference’s competition.
Garfield’s marks 20th anniversary in Adrian
Ask Nancy Williams, acting manager of the Garfield’s Restaurant and Pub in the Adrian Mall, what the secret of her restaurant’s being in business for 20 years is, and she’ll point to one main thing: its atmosphere.
