LISD Summer Career Camps are Open for Registration | LISD TECH Center

Summer is fast approaching, and the 2015 LISD Career Exploration Camps will be held June 15 – August 14, 2015.

The camp brochure is available on the LISD website (www.lisd.us/camps). Online registration is open. Full-day Career Exploration Camps (9 a.m.–3 p.m.) are still only $60/week and include a full hot lunch, field trips, and great fun and learning.

New camp sessions for younger students have been added and these are viewable in the registration system. We have a wonderful group of local teachers who teach our camps and look forward to seeing you and your student at camp.

 

E-Race the Stigma 5K draws 370 runners downtown | Adrian Today

Sunday’s E-Race the Stigma 5K drew 370 runners and 30 participants in the accompanying kids’ fun run.

Organizers expected to get about 150 runners, organizer Greg Adams said, “so we more than doubled expectations.”

 

 

City will help pay for Bohn Pool’s operation this summer | Adrian Today

The Bohn Pool in Adrian is getting a makeover after the City of Adrian and the YMCA of Lenawee County have come to a deal.

“With between 15,000 and 20,000 visits per season, city administrator Shane Horn, Bohn Pool is something that deserves to be a priority.”
