Michigan Breweries featured in event for area craft beer enthusiasts ADRIAN, MI – Michigan is home to some of the best craft beer breweries and the most talented and entertaining Rhythm & Blues groups in the world. In celebration of award-winning beer and live music, we would like to invite you to our Blues & Brews Festival and find out for yourself!

 

The Blues & Blues Festival will combine great rhythm and blues music with deliciously original Michigan beers for an event that will please even the most discriminating music and beer. The Blues & Brews Festival will be held on October 18, 2014 at The Pavilion, 115 Toledo Street, in downtown Adrian, Michigan. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. with live entertainment beginning at 3:30 p.m. and running though the event’s close at 9:00 p.m.

The event is organized by the Blues and Brews Group as a way for music lovers and craft beer enthusiasts to enjoy an eclectic sampling of beers from across the state of Michigan along with other selections from around the world and great live music without having to travel outside the Lenawee County area. The event hopes to draw up to 1,000 visitors to Adrian for the weekend.

 

The featured breweries for this year’s event are:, Atwater, Bell’s, Cotton Brewing Company, Tecumseh Brewing Company, Chelsea Alehouse, New Holland, Dark Horse Brewing Company, Shorts, Rochester Mills, and more. Musical groups that are scheduled to perform at this time are: The Mark Arshak Band and Billy.

 

Tickets for the event are $25 in advance and $30 each at the door. Tickets will also be available for sale at participating Key Bank locations starting Sept 24th. entertainment from great local, regional and national rhythm and blues groups, and ten ‘tastes’ from some of the finest breweries from across Michigan.

 

Tickets can be purchased now online at www.blues-n-brews.com (21 and over with valid identification only.) Food vendors will be on hand serving a wide variety of products from pizza, BBQ pork, and Mexican cuisine. Local sponsors for the event include corporate sponsor Key Bank, and ticket sponsor Adrian Tecumseh Fence. The Blues & Brews Group is seeking sponsors and volunteers for the event.
