Students see how the plants and animals of our ecosystem work together and form this web that connects them.

The LISD Stubnitz Environmental Education Center (SEEC) celebrates Earth Day by hosting Tecumseh Middle School 7th graders as well as the LISD TECH Center’s Sustainable Agriculture and Environmental Science (SAES) Class.

Students in attendance at the SEEC were able to learn about biodiversity. The students walked away knowing that each plant and animal on Earth is here for a reason and also how they affect each other.

The 7th graders were able to participate in 3 different educational activities, as well as a team building ice breaker and a nature hike to end their field trip. The SAES students assisted in the team building activity.

Both groups of students were able to celebrate Earth Day by learning about the environment, ecosystems and their interconnectedness.
