Earlier this week, the Michigan Strategic Fund approved a $1.27 million incentive for Inteva Products. The grant promises facility updates as well as the creation of 127 new jobs in our area. Approximately $23.3 million will be invested in state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.

The project will retain current employees as well as welcome new. Inteva Products is a tier-one automotive supplier that produces interior parts. This massive investment is due to a contract with General Motors, one of the largest contracts they have ever issued.

This success would not have been possible without the strategic effort of influential companies and organizations. The City of Adrian, Consumers Energy, Lenawee Now, and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation demonstrated the power of collaboration at the state and local level. That’s exactly what this is all about, coming together as a community to grow private/public partnerships and strengthen our local economy. Inteva Products’ expansion illustrates perfectly the idea that Lenawee County is borderless. We do not stay within our confinement, rather, we value outside relationships today for a brighter Lenawee tomorrow.

Congratulations to Inteva Products, we are pleased to have you in Lenawee County and hopeful for more success to come.
