“What is Crowdfunding?” will be a free event hosted by State Representative Mike Shirkey in Jackson. The event hopes to inform local, small business owners and entreprenuers about the benefits of crowdfunding, a new law allowing Michigan private business owners to sell equity to other Michigan residents.
Featuring two speakers who have done grounbreaking work on crowdfunding, Angela Barbash from Reconsider, and Thomas Coke from VerifyValid, this event will bring a wealth of info and passion to the table.
