Job Description:

Lenawee Now, the premier economic development organization in Lenawee County, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our mission to foster economic growth and development in our community. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate activities of multiple consultants and managers ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Oversee contracts and grants, including tracking deadlines, compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in basic bookkeeping tasks, including invoices, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain office organization, including managing supplies, equipment, and administrative tasks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge and experience with financial management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
