LISD TECH Center to Celebrate Career and Technical Education Month in February | Lenawee EDU

Emory and Kris Schmidt were awarded the Addison J. Comstock Award in a moving tribute at the chamber’s annual dinner and awards ceremony Wednesday at Adrian College.
The honor is presented to those who aggressively promote growth within the community, actively work to improve the quality of life for people in the area and are active leaders on various levels in the community. Community contributions by the Schmidts are numerous, presenters said, but a big part of their recognition was for what they’ve done for the Croswell Opera House and in turn the greater community. Emory Schmidt is president of the Croswell’s board of trustees.
