Planet Fitness has opened the doors to its 22,000 sq. ft. facility to satisfy the growing interest in health and fitness in Adrian. Located at 1368 S. Main Street, the new fitness center offers over 40 treadmills, dozens of elliptical machines, stationary bikes, and much more.

A New Spot for Local Brews: Tecumseh Brewing Co. is Now Open | The Daily Telegram

“It was a long journey, but we finally made it and we are excited,” said co-owner Kyle DeWitt.

The brewpub at 128 W. Chicago Blvd. in Tecumseh is open 11 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday and noon to midnight on Sunday.

“Pub style is help yourself. Feel free to sit anywhere you feel like, take your time and enjoy yourself,” co-owner Tim Schmidt said last fall when the Tecumseh City Council gave its approval to Tecumseh Brewing’s liquor license application. “We don’t have servers here. We serve everything out of the bar.”

Fixing the Skills Gap: Lenawee County’s Innovative solutions | Lenawee Now

The “skills-gap” is a well-documented phenomenon happening across the United States.

In Lenawee County, schools, businesses and economic development agencies have been working in a broad-based partnership to find solutions — and in the process, they’ve begun establishing Lenawee County as a premier place to run a business.

It wasn’t always that way. Jim Van Doren, executive director of Lenawee Now, can recall a time when “all of our major manufacturers came to us and said ‘We can’t find entry-level people to hire in Lenawee County.”

Solving the problem and making Lenawee County a leader in workforce education has been a multi-pronged task that Lenawee Now and its partners have tackled with enthusiasm. Read the full story here.
