Lenawee Now hosts Vision of Lenawee 2017

Adrian, MI, September 6, 2017 – Lenawee Now hosted its annual Vision of Lenawee Meeting held at the beautiful and historic Croswell Opera House, with nearly 125 in attendance. The purpose was to bring the business community together to review economic successes and discuss upcoming initiatives.

This year’s meeting had a strong focus on talent development and featured presentations from Adrian College, Siena Heights University, and Lenawee County. “We were proud to share our economic development successes, especially in the way of talent. We have done a lot of work in the past year together with educators and employers, which is creating a clear path for students to find careers in Lenawee County,” explained Jim Van Doren, Executive Director for Lenawee Now.

With topics such as Lenawee’s talent pool, skilled trades, and the strategic vision for Lenawee County, this event was very informative for all guests involved. “We had a fantastic group of presenters for this year’s event. We hope to make a sizable impact in our county and leave our community feeling optimistic about our future endeavors,” said Tim Robinson, Director of Operations for Lenawee Now.

Upon conclusion of the meeting, there was time to network with fellow guests from across Southeast Michigan.
