The fifth annual Midwest VW Jamboree will be returning to Hudson, Michigan this weekend from Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4. The event will be held at Thompson Memorial Park, located on South Church Street. The Midwest VW Jamboree is an annual event established in 2013. Each year, the event raises money for the Hudson Food Pantry, administered by the Hudson Ministerial Association.

The Jamboree is a place for VW enthusiasts to gather, share stories, enjoy beautiful weather, and create new memories, all while experiencing Hudson’s small town hospitality. With the help from generous sponsors, the event has grown with participants from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.

This one of a kind weekend will provide car fans the ultimate VW experience. With several exciting things to do like campout, swap meet, watch the car show, and listen to live music, your weekend is guaranteed to be one to remember!

Weekend camping will start at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2 and will end on Sunday, June 4. Your $60 camping ticket grants you access to a cruise, potluck, and car show. It is estimated that 150 vehicles will be a part of the show, as well as nearly a dozen parts “swappers.”

Both the swap meet and car show are scheduled for Sunday, June 4 at 7 a.m., and 9 a.m. respectively. Viewers are invited to join the show at 10 a.m. for a cost of $5, or a donation to the Hudson Food Pantry of five or more canned food items.
