South Central Michigan Works! and the Blissfield DDA/Main Street invite local entrepreneurs to a presentation on low-startup cost franchises on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 1pm.

The workshop will be presented by Brigitte Betser of FranNet of Michigan, and will be held in the conference room of Lenawee Now at 5285 W. US 223 in Adrian. Small business experts from the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center will be available to answer specific questions.

“We need to foster a mindset in our region that getting a job is not the only option,” said Jack Townsley, Business Services Manager for South Central Michigan Works!. Creating your own job through entrepreneurism is a viable alternative.”
